High school graduation ball
VOn Thursday 17.3. I had the opportunity, the opportunity and the honor to photograph my friend's son's prom; at the octave ball of the J. V. Jirsík Gymnasium in České Budějovice. The ball took place in the spirit of the holiday "St. Patrick's Day", i.e. in the spirit of the national holiday of the Republic of Ireland.
Characteristic "green" celebrations can therefore be encountered, as was seen at this ball, not only in Ireland. People all over the world celebrate it mainly with music, dancing and drinking dark beer. A green shamrock is also an identifying sign for supporters of the holy shepherd who brought Christianity to Ireland. On St. Patrick's Day, people wear it painted on their faces or decorate their clothes with it. In general, green is a typical color for St. Patrick and for Ireland, which is manifested in particular by wearing green clothes on St. Patrick's Day. A similar "green tone" accompanied this entire ball.
I already wrote about how to take photos in difficult lighting conditions at similar events here and here. Again, the photos will tell much more.
