– immigration office – an unforgettable experience with the officer – but after submitting the fingerprints and photos we finally got our visas :)

– in the morning we visited Soberanía National Park and it´s Rainforest Discovery Center, where we saw several species of hummingbirds and where we met married couple originally from Sri Lanka, but living in Texas
– in the afternoon we ´re in Parque Municipal Summit – ZOO and near Miraflores – one of the three locks that form part of the Panama Canal

– long way to pacific site to Santa Catalina – we went through El Valle amazing mountain village
– on the Panamericana we were fined – the cop wanted 50$, but finally we haggled for 20$ :)
– Santa Catalina is at first glance crazy and dirty village, but due to the large number of Europeans, it´s cool and safe place

– cruise to the island Coiba – Marine National Park
– snorkeling – we saw a lot of fishes, small shark and turtles
– on the island Coiba we met crocodile named Tito, iguanas and the first time we walked barefoot through the forest

– journey to the mountains – village Boquete
– visit of the botanical garden Mi Jardín es Su Jardín and of small waterfall
– amazing typical food cooked by hostess Marylin

– Quetzal trail – we climbed to a height of 2 200 meters above sea level
– visit of rescue center Jungla de Panamá

– journey to Almirante, respectively from the Pacific to the Caribbean
– bocas Ridge Hotel – paradise of toucans :)

– trip from Bocas Ridge Hotel to Bocas by water taxi and then with travel agency to Dolphin´s Bay, coral reef with snorkeling and to the Red Frog Beach

– trip to Isla Zapatilla 2 with our great neighbors from Panamá and Costa Rica
– journey through Dolphin´s Bay and coral reef

– trip with our friends to Playa de Estrella – beach with a lot of starfish in the shallows
– we visited during the trip an island named Carenero and also town Bocas
– due to Easter holiday the beach was crowded with local people

– we left our car in Boca Chica town near a church and rest of the way to the Pacific Bay Resort we traveled by water taxi
– the owner of the hotel showed us his part of peninsula on a golf cart

– all day lounging on the South beach and in a hammock

– way back to Panama City
– in the evening we rented taxi driver to show us night city
