Dachsteinkönig Familux Resort – almost 100% sure this hotel was one of the best we have ever been to. Although we have stayed many times in more star or more expensive hotels, we can easily place this one at the top of our accommodations. Especially taking into account the fact that it was a family hotel, and especially the way they behaved towards the children and everything was prepared and adapted for them, I dare say that there is no better family hotel in Europe at the moment. However, we still haven't lost our enthusiasm for him. And when you add to that the amazing surrounding landscape and the great weather, then perhaps you can't ask for more.

The town of Gosau is one of the starting points of the Dachstein West ski area. The surroundings of Gosau are full of natural attractions; nearby, for example, there are mountain lakes Gosausee (Vorderer Gosausee, Gosaulacke and Hinterer Gosausee) with amazingly clear water. Gosau is also a popular starting point for ascents to the Adamekhütte hut and the Hoher Dachstein. The dominant feature is the beautiful backdrop of the Gosaukamm dolomite ridge. And of course, that's not all. The wonderful places also include, for example, the nearby glacial lakes (Hallstätter See, Lake Wolfgang, Mondsee, Attersee, etc.) I think that this beautiful piece of Austria is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places to visit in Austria.
