Ireland

27.8. – 2.9.2018 Ireland Abroad

Beautiful country! A country that is always green and amazing people live there; a country that has a rich history and distinctive music; a country where famous beer is produced and which has excellent cuisine. That is, in short, Ireland.

It is a state located in northwest Europe and occupying roughly five-sixths of the surface of the island of the same name. Its neighbor is the United Kingdom, but above all the Atlantic Ocean. Ireland is the unitary parliamentary republic headed by the president. Dublin is the capital city.

There are many reasons to visit this country. Ireland boasts a splendid green landscape, which is called the "Emerald Island". In Ireland, thanks to the Gulf Stream, it is almost the same temperature all year round, with no major fluctuations. Sheep and cows are grazing everywhere; there is really enough grass there. The most famous natural features are the amazing cliffs along the Atlantic Ocean. Part of Ireland is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, including castles, megalithic buildings and half-dilapidated complexes.

But Ireland is also known for its gastronomy – the Irish are famous beer breeders. Their black beer Guinness is truly world-famous. No lesser known is the quality, three-times distilled, Irish whiskey Jameson. Beyond drinking beer, traditional, very catchy Celtic music is part of every little bar. A typical musical instrument of the Irish is a harp and an Irish dagger drum.

Ireland boasts a high standard of living. The country has a huge literary tradition, many successful singers of popular music, and many well-known actors come from here. It is spectacular here and not only here, but virtually all over the world, celebrating St. Patrick's Day, the patron saint of Ireland, who worked in the country in the second half of the 5th century.

There are many reasons to visit Ireland at least once in a lifetime. And I think everyone will find his reason, even if he is the slightest and only one, always found.
