Although the weather was not very kind to us (it was extremely windy and therefore most of the cable cars were not running), we still enjoyed our vacation. We have been to the same place in the past, but at a different time of year, and it was many years ago. And while spring could be seen at every turn in the valley this time, there was still snow on the peaks. In addition to the windy weather, sand from the Sahara also affected the weather here, which can be seen in many photos (the sky and not only the sky is slightly yellow).

Tux is a village located in the state of Tyrol in the district of Schwaz, in the Tuxertal valley. The Tuxertal is a side valley of the Zillertal. The famous Hintertux Gletscher ski resort is located here, where you can ski almost all year round. Tux – Zillertal and the Hintertux glacier are a couple that have "always" belonged together. Together they form the largest ski area in Austria with a total length of 620 km.
