It has always spoken about Paris in superlatives; not only in relation to monuments, but also to food and other things. But I think that the time when those superlatives were in place is over. I was in Paris for the first time and probably last for a long time. There was no "wow" effect. Of course, this is just my impression, but I think Paris is no longer and probably never will be the Paris it used to be, that is, one of the "best" cities of Europe, perhaps even the whole world. However, that does not mean that there is nothing to see, or there was nothing worth our visit. Of course, there are enough places there; for example, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Arc de Triomphe, etc. However, I still recommend visiting the city and making your own opinion, as always and with everything.
