Spreewald – Germany

18.7. – 20.7.2014 Germany Abroad

Blata (German Spreewald) is a forested area located approximately 100 km southeast of Berlin in Lower Lusatia, Germany; more precisely in the southern part of the federal state of Brandenburg, in the state districts of Spree-Neiße, Dahme-Spreewald and Oberspreewald-Lausitz. This area is unusual and is mainly known for being criss-crossed by a large number of river channels and waterlogged meadows.
This time, the photo gallery includes not only photos of the canals taken from the rented canoe during their passage, but also photos of the town of Lübennau and our accommodation from this interesting and unusual place.
