Bedřichov (707 m above sea level) is a village located in the Jablonec nad Nisou district in the Liberec Region. It has a population of about 400. It is located 6 kilometres north of Jablonec nad Nisou and 5 kilometres east of Liberec. In summer, Bedřichov serves as a starting point for hiking and cycling in the Jizera Mountains, and in winter as the starting point for many cross-country skiing trails. At the local stadium, a short distance from the parking lot and bus stop, the Jizerská magistrála cross-country trail, known primarily for the Jizerská padesátka race, begins. Directly above Bedřichov is also the famous Královka lookout tower.

Personally, Bedřichov charmed me so much that we visited it two weekends in a row, and it certainly wasn't the last time.
