I wrote about how challenging it is to photograph living creatures a few years ago in this article; the demands placed on the photographer and his technique are of course very high, here the photographer also faces the problem of exposure – a black dog on white snow. With the help of today's modern technology and software helpers, the path to getting better-looking pictures is much easier than it was a few years ago or even in the days of motion pictures.
It took a lot of work to capture these big cute mutts in the snow, but it was worth it. Some of their expressions, grimaces and movements are truly magical.
