After December's "not much" winter, during January, especially in its second half, winter manifested itself in its true beauty but also harshness; however, winter pulled the biggest trump card from its sleeve in the first half of February in the form of severe frosts, which in some places and on some days reached almost forty degrees. On days when it was warmer and there was not so much frost, on the contrary, a large amount of snow fell, which today (i.e. in the middle of February) reaches a height of around two meters on the top of Plechý, for example. The attached photos thus capture the atmosphere of this harsh winter landscape, photographed during several expeditions carried out during the month of January.
