Although it doesn't seem like it now (i.e. on Tuesday 12.4.), the last few days have been very beautiful, sunny and, above all, very dry. Such days are perfect for going on a trip. At the same time, however, these are days, or conditions where a little inattention or laxity combined with fire can lead to big problems and cause enormous damage and unfathomable consequences. Saturday 9.4. was also such a day, when – and only thanks to the professional work of the volunteer firefighters from Horní Planá – the above-mentioned situation did not occur, i.e. the dangerous and uncontrollable spread of the fire from the place where it started. Thanks to the quick intervention of the firefighters, the fire was extinguished in time, and only a piece of charred meadow remained after the fire.
