As part of the many events organized during the summer season in the Lipno town of Horní Planá, several interesting events took place in the very first weekend.
One of them was the historic car race called "3 – Länder – Classic". Horní Planá was just a passing place, but most of the cars stopped here for a short time and local residents and tourists could admire the beautiful cars, some of which can only be seen in museums these days. Many well-known brands of various manufacturers (Porsche, Jaguar, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Audi, VW, Mercedes, Renault ...) were seen here, but also less well-known (Pontiac, ...); but all "old" several decades. But all the more they were and are pampered by the owners, and around fifty of these beauties could "run" through the Horní Planá square.
