Ice hockey – Strakonice

Sports photography is generally a complex discipline that places great demands on two things in particular. This is both the focusing speed of the lens and the speed of the camera as such. I mean the speed of continuous shooting – the number of images per second and the number of images recorded in the camera's memory (buffer) without waiting for the actual writing to the card and for the memory to be emptied/released for additional photos (of course, photos are also written to the card during camera memory filling, but much slower than memory filling, especially for RAW format). The second thing is the ability (experience) of the photographer to follow through the viewfinder of the camera what is happening and where it is happening and to have the focus at the right moment where something important is happening. Especially with very dynamic sports, such as ice hockey, football, etc., it is often very demanding, and the more experience the photographer has, the better the photos will be. This time I had the opportunity to photograph hockey, although not a match of professional teams, but still a match in which I managed to photograph some very beautiful moments, interesting actions and successful interventions by the players.
