Fauna and Flora
After a few cold days, when it was already known that we have real autumn here, a beautiful and sunny weekend came again and a new opportunity to "catch something" through the viewfinder and lens of the camera. This time, the object of my interest was the zoo – yes, the ZOO again. Now, however, the garden is small, namely the zoological garden in Hluboká nad Vltavou. Even though it is a small garden, relatively many types of animals are kept and shown to visitors. However, her "specialization" is mainly the species of our – European nature. Of course, more exotic species also appear here and there, but there are significantly fewer of them, especially compared to other gardens in the Czech Republic. Thanks to the late afternoon sun, which gives the photographed objects a completely different color tone than when they are photographed, for example, at noon, it was possible to obtain nice, colorfully interesting pictures depicting the animals of our latitudes, which many people will not even meet anywhere else than in the zoo. Although recently the situation for some species is changing for the better. The late afternoon sun was also a negative in some situations – especially when it was leaning against the glass at the wrong angle. In addition to this problem, there was one more thing that bothered me in this garden, namely that in almost all the cages that had mesh, this mesh had very small meshes and therefore it was difficult and difficult to photograph through it.
