Krkonoše – Sněžka – wedding of friends
On Friday, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of my friends Deniska and Milánek. The environment and the weather were perfect for creating beautiful photos. Not only is Sněžka itself a beautiful and unusual place for a wedding, but the weather was also wonderful.
I learned two things from photographing this wedding. On the one hand, the fact that it is better if several people photograph an important event, after all, if it is not enough to capture one, the other can photograph it, and on the other hand, the fact that wide-angle lenses (Canon 17-40mm f/4 L or a friend's Canon EF 16-35mm f /2.8 L) are very high-quality, beautifully drawing lenses, with a large coverage of the photographed scene, but their depth of field is greater compared to telephoto lenses – when photographing the given object from the same distance. The depth of field is affected by the aperture, the current focus and the distance at which the photograph is taken. The shorter the focal length used (the less the subject is zoomed in), the greater the depth of field. Of course, this is a plus for many situations (e.g. landscapes), but I personally liked much more photos where the background is "significantly separated" from the photographed object – in this case the bride and groom, and thus does not interfere with what is important in the photo.
