Our visit to Olomouc was primarily connected with the restaurant Entrée Restaurant, which is currently known mainly thanks to the competition MasterChef Czech Republic and one of its jurors. However, this does not change the fact that it is one of the best restaurants in the Czech Republic. In addition to the luxury gastronomic experience, of course, we did not miss a visit to Olomouc as such, but also the nearby Svatý Kopeček.
Olomouc is a beautiful city, there are many interesting sights (e.g. Holy Trinity Column, Saint Wenceslas Cathedral, Olomouc Town Hall with Astronomical Clock, Chapel of St. John Sarkander and many others) and it is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in the Czech Republic.
Also nearby is Svatý Kopeček, where we should not miss a visit to the Olomouc Zoological Garden and the Minor Basilica of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, where great pilgrimages are held every year. Visitors will also be enchanted by the magnificent views of the surrounding countryside into the valley, where the fields, ponds and forests of Haná are spread.
