If someone had told me that it was possible to climb so many meters in one afternoon in the vicinity of Křivoklát Castle, I probably wouldn't have believed them. And that is mainly because there is basically no proper – I mean high – hill or peak here. But we ourselves have convinced ourselves that it is actually not such a problem and that it is possible to ascend less than 1,000 meters in height during one trip and then descend the same again. In reality, it is nothing special at all around Křivoklát Castle. Thanks to the type and relief of the local landscape, you can "easily" climb many more meters.
