From Divoká Šárka to Dejvice

Winter no and no give up! And when it looks like it's sunny outside, the cold wind spoils it all. And it was the same on the weekend of March 23 and 24, when outside the window of the room it looked unusually beautiful, but when you went outside, the cold wind completely spoiled this impression. The idea to get to know a small part of Prague, specifically the Divoka Šárka nature reserve, eventually turned into a trip of about twelve kilometers from this wonderful park to the ruins of the Baba summer house on a hill called Na Babě near the villa part of Dejvice.

The Divoká Šárka nature reserve is located in Prague 6, on the rocky slopes of the Šárecký potok (between the Džbán gorge and the Devil's Mill) and on the steppes above it, especially on its right bank. The steppes then turn into a vast forest, creating one of the largest parks in Prague.
Dejvice is an urban district and cadastral area in the Prague borough of Prague 6, located north of Prague Castle.
The ruins of the summer castle Baba are located on a promontory on the left side of the Vltava in Prague-Dejvice, above Podbaba on a hill called Na Babě (259 m above sea level). From the ruins there are beautiful views of Troja, Bubeneč and Dejvice.
