Although this winter, since December, the typical winter alternates with almost "spring" weather almost with a certain regularity, the winter days and weeks of course exceed. And that's a good thing, because winter is supposed to be winter with everything! In recent weeks, a lot of snow has fallen on all our mountains and not only on them, and enough snow means, among other things, enough cross-country trails for enthusiasts of this sport. One of the many well-known places promised to cross-country skiers are the Jizerské hory, known especially for the popular Jizerská padesátka.

Our goal this time was the Jizerské hory, specifically the village of Jizerka (Kořenov). Nice weather, beautifully prepared tracks and a huge amount of snow made for a fabulous two days at the weekend. Two amazing days spent cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
