Botanical Garden and Fata Morgana Greenhouse

9.4.2012 Czechia Fauna and Flora

Splendor, beauty, amazing and surely many other superlatives could be found! Although words are not enough for such a spectacle! You have to see such beauty with your own eyes. And what do I really mean?

As every year, this year as well, in the Botanical Garden of the capital city of Prague, visitors can enjoy the exhibition of delicate tropical beauties in the Fata Morgana Greenhouse. Butterflies, which can be watched even when they hatch from their pupae, are brought to the greenhouse from a butterfly farm in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, and during the month of April, every visitor to this greenhouse can see them with their own eyes. These beautiful and very rare butterflies are found in nature, for example, in Africa, the Canary Islands, South and Southeast Asia, northern Australia and Central and South America. Here, however, the visitor has the advantage of being able to see them all together.
