ZOO Dvůr Králové nad Labem

8.8.2009 Czechia Fauna and Flora

An evening visit to the zoo in Dvůr Králové gave me the opportunity to try out the new Canon EF 70 – 200 mm f/2.8 L lens for the first time. The first photos already showed that this is a very high-quality lens, the only disadvantage of which is its weight, especially when shooting handheld and without using a tripod. Otherwise, the optical quality, aperture and speed make it one of the best mid-telephoto lenses on the market and, of course, in my photo gear.
The negative of evening photography is the small amount of light, the positive, on the other hand, is that at sunrise and sunset, the sunlight has the most beautiful colors and the photographed objects, and then the resulting photos will take on a completely different dimension, especially their color presentation is completely different from when taking photos during the day.
