Grossarl – Austria

18.4. – 22.4.2019 Austria Abroad

A visit to Austria almost never disappoints us. Especially during the spring and autumn, when there are far fewer people than during the ski season or summer vacations, you will almost never meet anyone on the hills during those off-season periods. This makes Austria an ideal relaxing and relaxing place at this time.

This time we chose the town of Grossarl, which is located in the Grossarltal area of the same name, which flows through the Großarler Ache. The choice of this destination was not accidental. There are hills on both sides of the town, with stunning views of the valley and great hiking trails that lead you to the very tops of the surrounding hills. This time, a large amount of snow stopped at the peaks, somewhere around 1700 meters above sea level. However, the valley itself is amazing, especially for cycling trips. The bike path stretches across the valley and ends on the border of the High Tauern National Park. However, Austria has such amazing places as this vast quantity, and the Grossarltal valley is one of them.
