Cinibulkova stezka

6.7.2014 Czechia Amazing place of Czechia

The surroundings of Kokořín Castle are interwoven with a number of rock formations, labyrinths and interesting trails. One of them is Cinibulka's educational trail. The trail starts at the Municipal Spa in the village of Mšeno and returns here after a 9 km journey through the beautiful Kokořín landscape. This trail was established in 1946 by the local Club of Czech Tourists in honor of Josef Bedřich Cinibulka, an important Czech teacher and promoter of tourism in Kokořínsko. The route leads, among other things, between rocks, wooded mines, through labyrinths of corridors, and along the way you will come across breathtaking scenery of the beautiful local landscape. Right on the route, you can explore the interesting rock formations that gave these stone monoliths their names due to their shape. They are, for example, Maze, Giant Heads, Frogs, or Pharaoh and Crawlers. You can also learn more about the local area in my previous article.
