High Tatras – Slovakia – 2013

11.9. – 15.9.2013 Slovakia Abroad

If someone had convinced me before the trip to the High Tatras that at the end of summer at an altitude of around 2,000 meters above sea level to attack such a creep, I wouldn't trust him. But now I believe! I was in the High Tatras, but actually in Slovakia in general, this year for the first time. The High Tatras are magical. It is almost an ideal place for tourists. And why I write "almost"; for there is only one thing to be careful about – bears. They are usually so shy that one does not meet them at all; on the other hand, there is a lot of information about how close bears have gotten to people or human dwellings, so it is certainly not a bad idea to be careful.
But for those who like tourism, I recommend that you definitely visit this place. We will definitely return there at some point in the future, and in addition, we have never experienced such vagaries of the weather within a few days, or even hours, anywhere else. And our trips are even more interesting and adventurous!
