From Drahanské údolí to the botanical garden or the beauty of spring

1.5.2013 Czechia Amazing place of Czechia

Near Prague, on the right bank of the Vltava, stretches a beautiful valley, named after the stream that flows through it, the Drahanské. You can start your walk through this valley, for example, in Dolní Chabry and continue through this valley to the Vltava and then, like us, to the Botanical Garden of the capital city of Prague or even further.
Drahanské údolí (sometimes also Drahaňské údolí, Drahaň) is located on the northern edge of Prague on the right bank of the Vltava. As already mentioned above, it stretches along the stream of the same name, which originates in Dolní Chabry and which then flows in a western direction and empties into the Vltava between Zámky and Klecánky. The valley is part of the Drahaň-Troja and Dolní Povltaví nature parks.
The attached photos show the beauty of the local flora and the blossoming splendor of the botanical garden, which I already wrote about last year in the third paragraph of this article.
