Thanks to my friend and his girlfriend, and especially thanks to the excellent idea of taking a trip on the weekend – which was very beautiful as far as the weather is concerned – I was able to walk again after several years along a part of one – really beautiful – Šumava river. That river is Blanice. It can actually be said about many places, that is, about many rivers, that they are beautiful, here it is further enhanced by the wildness of nature, the minimal intervention of technology and man on the surrounding nature, and especially the beauty of the river itself.
